    Eastern Health says a review of all prostate cancer tests is not underway. Officials say as part of their quality control program, 10 per cent of those tests are selected randomly and sent outside for re-testing. The re-testing is taking place at the University of Calgary.

    Health Minister Ross Wiseman says a quality control program, not a fear of erroneous results, has Eastern Health randomly re-evaluating results of prostate cancer tests. Wiseman says 10 to 20 per cent of testing is normally rechecked to ensure the validity of the process.

(NASDAQ: GTXI) announced that results of the Phase III ADT clinical trial evaluating toremifene citrate 80 mg for the treatment of multiple side effects of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in men who have advanced prostate cancer were presented during a late breaking oral session at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in San Diego.
